On another note - baby k is 6 months old this week. So happy to know that his last wellness report stated that he is healthy and growing strong!

The purple chair
After receiving our updated photos I was imagining baby k sitting in his little chair hanging out in his crib. Now, not so much. After checking out a few more adoption blogs I started to see a common theme....same purple chair and same blue bunny in the background! This must just be the common Holt picture area. Soon enough he'll have all his own stuff to hang out in!

I am in the process of adopting from China through Bethany...However, my husband and I are thinking about switching gears and adopting from S. Korea. I have to say it helped to stumble upon your blog (It was a link from an infertility blog I read) and see your son and see how fast the process has been! Do you feel like it has been fast? Compared to the wait in China it is. When you adopt from S. Korea do you get the story about your son's birth mother and medical history, etc.? Do they give you a set travel time from the time you receive a referral? I imagine it's hard to have his picture and then have to wait months to go get him. You can email me if you want at mariehalpin@hotmail.com. I'd appreciate any advice that you have! Congrats on your new baby! Sincerely,
Marie in MI
