It is a beautiful spring day here today. A little bit cool and windy but its very sunny...a great day to see some sights. We spent most of the day walking around Gyeongbokgung Palace. It is huge and right in the middle of the city. We also have a nice view of it from our hotel window! So we could walk there in about 5 minutes.
Jim was really trying to be excited about the seafood casserole we ordered for dinner last night. He ate in and he survived...not bad for someone who doesn't like seafood...now that lent is over he can move on to beef!

Looking down on the main shopping street in Insadong. its nice that our hotel is really close to this area. We can walk to shopping and dinner every night. The streets are filled with shops and tons of Korean restaurants.

So happy your are enjoying you time. That palace is my absolute favorite and it was a fun surprise to find we could walk to it from the Somerset. Love Insadong!! Happy shopping!
