Our package has been assembled and it should arrive in the next few days. I am hoping that we will also get a few updated pictures when Charlie receives his things! I am so excited for him to get this. It is our first opportunity to connect with him 1/2 way around the world.
As for paperwork, we are still awaiting out i800 approval. It will be 2 weeks tomorrow so it should be approved any day now.

As an adoptive parent myself I am spreading the word about this. . . Grand Rapids Michigan will be hosting the 15th national KAAN (Korean American Adoptee/Adoptive Family) Conference at the Amway Grand Plaza on August 2-4th. This conference will provide meaningful and thought provoking information for any adoptee, adoptive family or professional who works in the adoption field. Youth and childcare programs are available for children ages 2-17. Details on the conference can be viewed at KAANet.org.
