About this time tomorrow we will be heading to the airport for a very long day of travel. Our final destination is Taiyuan, China in the Shanxi province. Charlie is curently in Datong and he will make the trip to meet us late Thursday night or early Friday morning.
We will fly directly into Beijing and then we will have a short layover until our domestic flight on China Eastern Airlines. We will have 4 other Bethany families that are also flying out of O'Hare tomorrow.
On Monday morning, the three of us will travel by bus to process paperwork. Hopefully, if time allows we will have the opportunity to tour Charlie's SWI (Social Welfare Institute) in Datong. In the evening we will fly to Beijing and tour there for a few days.
